Fort railway station is a major rail hub in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The station is served by Sri Lanka Railways, with many inter-city and commuter trains entering each day. Fort Station is the main rail gateway to central Colombo; it is the terminus of most intercity trains in the country. The earliest station to be called ''Fort'' was a small station, built in 1877 when the Coastal Line (Sri Lanka), Coast Line was built. Hatton Railway Station (Sri Lanka)
Hatton Station is a railway station on the Main (Colombo-Badulla) railway line in Sri Lanka. It is situated between Rozella and Kotagala railway stations. It is along the railway line from the Colombo Fort Railway Station at an elevation of about above sea level. The Hatton railway station was opened on 4 June 1884 when the main line was extended from Nawalapitiya to Hatton. The station was the terminus of the main line until the line was extended to Nanu-Oya on 20 May 1885. The station has a reservation and train enquiry section, ticket office, cloak room, waiting hall, book stall, tea stall, toilet blocks and catering area together with a public car parking area. Galle railway station is a railway station in the southern city of Galle in Sri Lanka. Owned by Sri Lanka Railways, the state-run railway operator, the station is part of the Coast Line, which links Sri Lanka's south coast with the Colombo. Anuradhapura Railway Station is a railway station in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. The station is served by Sri Lanka Railways, with Northern Line services, such as the Yal Devi, calling at the station. Vavuniya railway station ( ''Vavuṉiyā toṭaruntu nilaiyam'') is a railway station in the city of Vavuniya in northern Sri Lanka. The Main Line is a major railway line in the Sri Lanka Railways, rail network of Sri Lanka and considered by many to be one of the most scenic train journeys in all of Asia.
