Fort Hope (band)
Fort Hope are a British rock band formed in 2013 after the disbandment of electronic rock band My Passion in 2012. The band has released three EPs and released their debut mini-album in May 2014, which peaked at 8 on the UK top Rock and Metal albums. History Formation and EP releases (2013–2014) The band consists of four former members of the electronic rock band My Passion, the line-up consisting of Jon Gaskin, Simon Rowlands and Jamie Nicholls, who all agreed to stay together and form a new band while Laurence Rene, the former singer of My Passion, did not. The band was officially announced on 13 January 2013 along with the release of their first song titled 'Control'. The song was aired on BBC Radio a month later. Hertfordshire ( or ; often abbreviated Herts) is a ceremonial county in the East of England and one of the home counties. Max Raptor are an English four-piece punk rock band from Burton upon Trent in the Midlands, England, formed in 2006. They have toured the UK and played two dates in 2009 with Canadian punk band Billy Talent and then toured 16 dates in 2010 with British punk band The Stranglers. Their single "Breakers" from their forthcoming debut album was played for the first time on 13 June 2013 on BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe show. Max Raptor played Download Festival 2010 and played with Cage the Elephant, The Futureheads, Captain, Calvin Harris and Oceansize earlier in their career. Moose Blood are an English emo band based in Canterbury, Kent. They formed in 2012 and were previously signed to Hopeless Records. The band released three albums from 2012 to 2018. Moose Blood went on a six-year hiatus before returning in 2024 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut. Frank Anthony Iero, Jr. (, born October 31, 1981) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist of the rock band My Chemical Romance and as a guitarist in the supergroup L.S. Dunes. He was also the lead vocalist of the post-hardcore band Leathermouth. Sonisphere Festival
The Sonisphere Festival was a touring rock music festival which took place across Europe between the months of June and August. The festival was owned by John Jackson and Kilimanjaro Live. It was jointly promoted by K2 and Kilimanjaro Live. It hosted heavy metal music, heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Babymetal (the latter group would make their UK debut at the 2014 event). The festival has not taken place in the UK since 2014. Stuart Galbraith, chief executive officer of Kilimanjaro Live, revealed in 2018 that Sonisphere will not return to the UK, due to financial issues. Mini Album
A mini-LP or mini-album is a short record album or LP, usually retailing at a lower price than an album that would be considered full-length. It is distinct from an EP due to containing more tracks and a slightly longer running length. A mini-LP is not to be confused with the Japanese CDs issued in a " mini LP sleeve" or "paper jacket". Its running time is shorter than the typical album but longer than a single album. It is sometimes synonymous with extended play, especially in East Asia music market.
