Industry The municipality has more than 850 small and medium-sized companies across a broad spectrum of industries. A number of them are active in dental technology and in the care and rehabilitation of youths. Forshaga municipality is the largest employer with about 950 employees. The largest private company in Forshaga is Stora Enso which has about 100 employees. Stora Enso is active in the paper industry and a member of the regional company cluster Paper Province. Forshaga Municipality
Forshaga Municipality () is a municipality in Värmland County in west central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Forshaga. The first municipality named Forshaga was a market town (''köping'') which was detached from Grava in 1944. The local government reform of the 1970s made Forshaga a unitary municipality in 1971 and in 1974 Ullerud was added to it. Forshaga was known in the 14th century as a location for salmon fishing in the river Klarälven. Salmon was used both locally and transported to monasteries in southern Sweden. Forshaga is still known for its rich fishing waters, which attract hobby sport fishers from all over the country. Värmland County
Värmland County () is a county or '' län'' in west central Sweden. It borders the Swedish counties of Dalarna, Örebro and Västra Götaland, as well as the Norwegian counties of Østfold, Akershus and Innlandet to the west. The title of Duke of Värmland is claimed by His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip. Värmland () is a ''Provinces of Sweden, landskap'' (historical province) in west-central Sweden. Nisse Nilsson
Nils Erik "Dubbel-Nisse" Nilsson (8 March 1936 – 24 June 2017) was a Swedish ice hockey forward and footballer. Between 1954 and 1967 he played 205 international matches and scored 131 goals, which is the second-best scoring result, behind that of Sven Tumba. He won the world title in 1957 and 1962, finishing second in 1963 and 1967 and third in 1958 and 1965. He competed at the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics, and finished in fourth, fifth and second place, respectively. He was the best forward of the 1960 tournament and was selected to the all-star team at the 1962 World Championships. Sten Tolgfors
Sten Sture Tolgfors (born 17 July 1966) is a Swedish former politician, public affairs executive and government official who is serving as Governor of Västra Götaland County since 1 September 2022, having been appointed to the position on 9 June 2022. He served as Minister for Foreign Trade 2006-2007 and as Minister for Defence from 2007 until his resignation in 2012. He was a Member of the Swedish Parliament for Örebro County from 1994 to 2013. The Minister for Defence of Sweden (; formal title: ) is a member of the Government of Sweden (). The Minister heads the Ministry for Defence and is appointed and dismissed at the sole discretion of the prime minister of Sweden.
