Ford Mustang GT3
The Ford Mustang GT3 is a racing car designed and developed by Ford Performance and Multimatic Motorsports according to GT3 regulations. In 2022 it was announced that the Ford Mustang GT3 is in development. The car is the race variant of the seventh-generation edition of the Ford Mustang. It was unveiled as part of the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 9, 2023. Its first race was the 2024 24 Hours of Daytona. It competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship and the FIA WEC as well as other major GT series such as the GT World Challenge. The German racing team Proton Competition has been confirmed as the first customer team to run the Ford Mustang GT3. The 2024 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (formally known as the 2024 TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps) was an endurance sportscar racing event held on 11 May 2024, as the third of eight rounds of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship. It was the 58th running of the event, and the 13th running of the event as part of the World Endurance Championship. Background The event was announced on 9 June 2023, during the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend. With the Italian round being moved from July to April, there is only a three-week period between the round at Imola, and the round at Spa. Entry list The entry list was revealed on 24 April 2024, with 37 entries: 19 in the Hypercar category, and 18 in the LMGT3 category. World Rally Championship
The World Rally Championship (abbreviated as WRC) is an international rallying series owned and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA. Inaugurated in 1973, it is the oldest FIA world championship after Formula One. Each season lasts one calendar year, and typically consists of 13 three- to four-day rally events driven on surfaces ranging from gravel and tarmac to snow and ice. Each rally is usually split into 15–25 Special stage (rallying), special stages which are run against the clock on up to of closed roads. The coyote (''Canis latrans''), also known as the American jackal, prairie wolf, or brush wolf, is a species of canis, canine native to North America. GT World Challenge
SRO Motorsports Group (formerly the Stéphane Ratel Organisation) is an international sporting organisation best known for promoting and running a variety of racing events and series, including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, Intercontinental GT Challenge and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe.
