The Ford Festiva is a four passenger, three-door, front-drive subcompact car manufactured in South Korea by Kia, under license from Mazda and marketed by Ford for model years 1986–2002 over three generations in Japan, the Americas, and Australia as the Festiva and as the Aspire in North America during its second generation. ''Ford Festival'', also known as ''The James Melton Show'', is an hour-long television show, sponsored by Ford Motor Company, hosted by James Melton, and broadcast on NBC television, NBC Television beginning on April 5, 1951. The final show was aired June 26, 1952. This show was replaced by another Ford-sponsored NBC show, ''Ford Theatre, Ford Television Theatre'', from October 1952 to September 1956. While sold across four generations in the domestic Japanese market, the Demio nameplate was rarely used outside of Japan, where it was usually called the Mazda2.
