For Those I Love is the musical project of David Andrew Balfe from Dublin, whose 2021 debut album ''For Those I Love'' was met with critical acclaim. He is a former band member of the Blind and Mothers & Fathers with Pamela Connolly of Pillow Queens. In December 2020, For Those I Love performed the project's first extended live performance as part of the Irish music festival and the TV show ''Other Voices''. Balfe dedicated the album to his late friend, spoken word musician Paul Curran. Dublin

Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Pillow Queens
Pillow Queens are an Irish indie rock band from Dublin, formed in 2016. The band is composed of co-lead vocalists Sarah Corcoran and Pamela Connolly, lead guitarist Cathy McGuiness and drummer Rachel Lyons. The instrumental roles of Corcoran and Connolly switch around depending on which of them is performing lead vocals – if a song features Corcoran on lead vocals, for example, then she will play rhythm guitar and Connolly will play bass, and vice versa for Connolly's songs. The band have been praised for their lyrical content, which often reckons with an Irish Catholic upbringing mixed with the band members themselves being openly LGBT. The Choice Music Prize (), known for sponsorship reasons as the RTÉ Choice Music Prize is an annual music prize awarded to the best album from a band or solo musician who is born in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland or holds an Irish passport. For bands, the majority of members must have been born in the island of Ireland or hold an Irish passport.
