''Footpath'' is a 1953 Hindi romantic drama film written and directed by Zia Sarhadi. It stars Dilip Kumar, Meena Kumari in lead roles. Zia Sarhadi
Zia Sarhadi (; born Fazl-e-Qadir Sethi 1914 in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North West Frontier Province – 27 January 1997 in Karachi, Sindh) was an Indian and Pakistani screenwriter and Film director, director of films in the Indian Film Industry, whose career spanned what is widely considered the Cinema of India#Golden Age of Indian cinema, Golden Age of Indian Cinema. Career He was the father of TV and radio actor Khayyam Sarhadi and grandfather of actress Zhalay Sarhadi. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey (19 March 1939 – 8 July 2020), better known by his stage name Jagdeep, was an Indian actor and comedian who appeared in more than 400 films. He played Soorma Bhopali in ''Sholay'' (1975), Machchar in '' Purana Mandir'' (1983), Salman Khan's dad in '' Andaz Apna Apna'' (1994) and directed the film '' Soorma Bhopali'', with his character as the protagonist. Talat Mahmood (24 February 1924 – 9 May 1998) was an Indian playback singer who is considered as one of the greatest and most popular Indian male film song and ghazal singers. Majrooh Sultanpuri
Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in the Hindi language film industry. Master Romi (born Mohammed Salim) is a former Indian actor in Hindi language films. He was best known as a child actor after his brilliant performance in K.A. Jankidas Mehra (1910 – 18 June 2003) was an Indian actor of Hindi cinema, cyclist, production designer, and writer. He made over 1000 film appearances between the 1930s and 1997.
