Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo
The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is a non-profit contemporary arts institution based in Turin, Italy, founded by arts collector Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in 1995. History In 1995, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo established the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, initially showing her growing collection in the family home at the Palazzo Re Rebaudengo in Guarene d'Alba. In 2002, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo opened a low-built minimalist building in the Borgo San Paolo district in the urban center of Turin, as a dedicated art space. The building was previously a Fergat automobile factory before being converted into a contemporary arts space by architect Claudio Silvestrin, which opened to the public in 2002. Alicja Kwade
Alicja Kwade (born 1979) is a Polish-German contemporary visual artist. Her sculptures and installations focus on the subjectivity of time and space. Kwade lives and works in Berlin. Early life and education Kwade was born in the industrial city of Katowice, of what was then communist Poland. Martine Syms (born 1988) is an American artist based in Los Angeles who works in publishing, video, installation, and performance. Her work focuses on identity and the portrayal of the self in relation to themes such as feminism and Black culture. This is often explored through humour and social commentary. Syms coined the term "conceptual entrepreneur" in 2007 to characterize her practice. Early life Martine Syms was born in Los Angeles in 1988. Rachel Rose (born September 20, 1970) is a Canadian/American poet, essayist and short story writer. The Hollywood Sign is an American landmark and cultural icon overlooking Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Originally the Hollywoodland Sign, it is situated on Mount Lee, in the Beachwood Canyon area of the Santa Monica Mountains.
