Michel Follet
Michel Follet (born 16 December 1959) is a Flemish radio and TV host and a film critic. Follet started his radio career for VRT as a disc jockey on Radio 2 in 1982. In 1992 Follet co-founded Radio Donna and presented the show ''Jabbedabbedoe''. Between 1994 and 2015 he was film critic for the regional channel ATV in Antwerp. In 1996 Follet provided the VRT television commentary for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest (alongside Johan Verstreken) when regular commentator André Vermeulen was unable to make it to Oslo to commentate. In addition Follet has provided the VRT Radio commentary every year since the 1997 Contest and in 1999 he won the Eurovision Song Contest awards. Currently he host the radio programme: "Michel XXL" on JOE fm alongside Hijlco Span. Nelson Le Follet
Nelson Le Follet, stage name of Bartolomeo Viganego, also known as Enrico or Enrichetto (14 May 1859 in San Fruttuoso – 20 September 1943 in Chiavari), was an Italian illusionist, impersonator and acrobat. Biography During Le Follet's youth, he had been an athlete of the Christopher Columbus Gymnastics Society, thus dedicating himself to performing acrobatic acts in famous circuses of the time, such as the Parish Circus, under the name of the "Red Devil". His background as a Viganego gymnast, allowed him to perform mostly as an antipodean, as an expert of the circus art in juggling various objects with his feet, laying on his back and keeping his legs up in the air, more or less, vertically. He dedicated himself to pantomime, transforming and illusionist shows in Italian Theatres (such as the Venetian Malibran), French and Spanish Theatres, with his own company, "Troupe Nelson". René Follet (10 April 1931 – 13 March 2020), sometimes known by the pen name Ref, was a Belgian illustrator, comics writer and artist. Simone Follet
Simone Follet (23 January 1935 – 16 February 2021) was a French epigrapher and philologist, specialising in Roman Greece, especially Athens. Life Follet attended lycée at Mâcon and at Versailles. In 1955, she enrolled in the École normale supérieure de jeunes filles in Sèvres, studying literature. After her graduation in 1958, Follet worked at the University of Clermont-Ferrand until 1961, when she returned to the École normale supérieure to study Ancient Greek philology and literature. In 1975, Follet became the adjunct director of the École normale supérieure, a post which she retained until 1987. From 1981 to 1985, she was also the director of a CNRS project called "Etude de textes sophistiques et techniques tardifs" (Study of Sophistic Texts and Late Techniques), based at the École normale supérieure. Dewey Follet Bartlett
Dewey Follett Bartlett Sr. (March 28, 1919 – March 1, 1979) was an American politician who served as the 19th governor of Oklahoma from 1967 to 1971, following his fellow Republican, Henry Bellmon. In 1966, he became the first Roman Catholic elected governor of Oklahoma, defeating the Democratic nominee, Preston J. Moore of Oklahoma City. He was defeated for reelection in 1970 by Tulsa attorney David Hall in the closest election in state history. He was elected to the United States Senate in 1972 and served one term. ''Will O' the Wisp'' () is a 1931 novel by the French writer Pierre Drieu La Rochelle. It has also been published in English as ''The Fire Within''. It tells the story of a 30-year-old man who after military service, followed by a few years of cosmopolitan, decadent life, has become burned out, addicted to heroin and tired of living. The author's source of inspiration for the main character was the dadaist poet Jacques Rigaut (1898–1929). The novel has been the basis for two feature films, Louis Malle's ''The Fire Within'' from 1963 and Joachim Trier's ''Oslo, August 31st'' from 2011. Plot Alain Leroy is 30 years old. ''Farfadet'' (Q7) was the lead ship of her class of four submarines built for the French Navy at the beginning of the 20th century. She was of the Maugas type.
