Focus Africa Foundation
The Focus-Africa Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered in South Africa. It works with the Joaquim Chissano Foundation (FJC), which was started by the ex president of Mozambique, Joaquim Chissano, on promoting the social, economic, and cultural development of Mozambique. The Focus Africa Foundation primarily works with the FJC on its Wildlife Preservation Initiative, especially with anti-rhino poaching efforts. History The foundation was started in 2014 and has the registration number 2014/027537/08. Partners The foundation has been involved with and partnered with various organisations, such as the World Youth Rhino Summit, Rhula Intelligent Solutions, Freeland, Semantic Research, the Satao Project, and Outraged South Africa Citizens Against Poaching (OSCAP). Mozambique

Joaquim Chissano
Joaquim Alberto Chissano (born 22 October 1939) is a Mozambican politician who served as the second President of Mozambique, from 1986 to 2005. He is credited with transforming the war-torn country of Mozambique into a successful African democracy. After his presidency, Chissano became an elder statesman, envoy and diplomat for both his home country and the United Nations. Chissano also served as Chairperson of the African Union from 2003 to 2004. Early life Joaquim Chissano was born in the remote village of Malehice, Chibuto district, Gaza Province of the Portuguese colony of Mozambique (then called Portuguese East Africa). Poaching
Poaching is the illegal hunting or capturing of wild animals, usually associated with land use rights. Poaching was once performed by impoverished peasants for subsistence purposes and to supplement meager diets. It was set against the hunting privileges of nobility and territorial rulers. Since the 1980s, the term "poaching" has also been used to refer to the illegal harvesting of wild plants. In agricultural terms, the term 'poaching' is also applied to the loss of soils or grass by the damaging action of feet of livestock, which can affect availability of productive land, water pollution through increased runoff and welfare issues for cattle. Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park () is a national park in South Africa covering an area of in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in the country's northeast.
