Commercially important species include two species of ''Homarus'' from the northern Atlantic Ocean and Scampi (other), scampi (which look more like a shrimp, or a "mini lobster")—the Northern Hemisphere genus ''Nephrops'' and the Southern Hemisphere genus ''Metanephrops''.
