Flóra Anna Buda
Flóra Anna Buda (born March 4, 1991) is a Hungarian film director and animator based in Paris, France. She is mostly known for writing and directing the multi-award-winning short film '' 27'', which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, where it won the Palme d'Or du court métrage. Buda has also written and directed the award-winning short film ''Entropia'' (2019), which was her university graduation project at MOME. Career Buda studied animation at MOME (Budapest, Hungary) and graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in animation and in 2018 with a master's degree in animation. After completing her studies, she began an internship at MIYU Productions, where she later became a film director. The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival took place from 16 to 27 May 2023. Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund served as jury president.
