Fluffy (song)
"Fluffy" is a song by English alternative rock band Wolf Alice. It was released on 11 February 2013 through Chess Club Records as their debut single. A new, re-recorded version of the song was later featured on their debut studio album, ''My Love Is Cool'' (2015). Regarding the new version, they said, "when we started to make the album, we were really upset, 'cause we thought the old recording never sounded very good. It didn't do the song justice, so we wanted to re-record it. So it's quite nice to go full circle and put the first song we released on the album." The DRDO Fluffy was a target drone designed and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation's Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) in Bangalore in early 1970s for use by the Indian Armed Forces. ''Fluffy'' is a graphic novel that was written and drawn by Simone Lia. It was first published as a series of four books between 2003 and 2005, and then released as one volume in 2007, by Jonathan Cape. The book is a mixture between cartoon and graphic novel that tells the story of Fluffy, a young rabbit (who doesn't think he is a rabbit) and his owner Michael Pulcino. The book is drawn with few colours, but has a high amount of detail. Fluffy thinks that Michael is his daddy and even though Michael makes it clear that this isn't so, Fluffy refuses to accept this. The story has themes of loneliness, however the characters come together in the end with a new sense of meaning to their lives. Breakfast with Amy was an American Christian alternative rock band, formed in 1986 in La Habra, California at the La Habra Four-Square church. At that time, the band consisted of vocalist David Koval, bassist Jeff "Tennessee Beans" Beahn, guitarist Christopher Colbert, and drummer Paul Pellegrin. The pastor of the church was throwing a Saturday night concert. A band had backed out and he needed a replacement. David, Christopher, Paul and Jeff quickly formed "Friends of Amy" to perform. The band was later joined by Caryn Barker on guitar and Charlotte Stripland on bass. Charlotte was replaced in 1989 by Bob "Edwin" Wohler. Fluffy was an English punk rock band from London, active between 1994 and 1998. The band's most prominent line-up consisted of singer and guitarist Amanda Rootes, guitarist Bridget Jones, bassist Helen Storer, and drummer Angie Adams. The band recorded several singles, an EP, and a studio album, ''Black Eye'', in 1996. History The band formed in 1994 after classmates Amanda Rootes and Angie Adams were inspired by a jazz-blues singer in one of Old Compton Street's gay cafes. They were attending college in London at the time, studying art and design. Guitarist Bridgette Jones did her A levels before joining and the band began rehearsing in Rootes' living room.
