Florin Ristei
Florin Ristei (born Traian Florin Ristei; 29 August 1987) is a Romanian singer and television presenter. He was born in the city of Galați, Romania, but he currently lives in Bucharest. He is best known for his debut single, "Dana" (together with his former band, Amici) and for winning X Factor (Romanian season 3), the third season of the ''X Factor Romania'' in 2013. In 2012, Universal Pictures chose Ristei to sing the main songs the animated movie Disney Magical Music, alongside Paula Seling, and Dalma Kovacs who provide the Romanian version of the film. Life and career 1987–2012: Early life, Amici and Marfar Ristei attended the General School No. 10 from Galați. His teachers say that he excelled as a student; as a child he was very ambitious, but he also worked hard. It was released on as the second single of the ''XsessionMUSICVLOG'' project, which consisted of recording sessions that took place weekly in the Scandalos Music studio during 2016. The song's music was written by Mahia Beldo and the lyrics were written by Vescan. "Las-o…" is a Hip-Hop-Rap song where the Rap part is done by Vescan, being accompanied by Ristei who sings the pop-oriented chorus. Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012. Later that month, the Airplay 100—which was compiled by Media Forest and also broadcast by Kiss FM—replaced the Romanian Top 100 as a national chart. The ninth season of the '' X Factor Romania'' talent show premiered September 11, 2020. Andrei Tiberiu Maria (; born 27 July 1983), better known by his stage name Smiley, is a List of Romanian singers, Romanian singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and television presenter, from Pitești. He was part of the pop groups :ro:Simplu, Simplu (2001–2011) and Radio Killer (2009–2015). As a solo artist, Smiley started in 2007 and has become one of Romania's biggest pop artists, archiving 14 number ones and more than 30 Top20 singles. In 2013, he won "MTV Europe Music Award for Best Romanian Act, Best Romanian Act" during the MTV Europe Music Awards held in Amsterdam. Romania In The Eurovision Song Contest 2013
Romania was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song " It's My Life" written by Cristian Faur. The song was performed by Cezar. The Romanian broadcaster Televiziunea Română (TVR) organised the national final ''Selecția Națională 2013'' in order to select the Romanian entry for the 2013 contest in Malmö, Sweden. The national final consisted of three shows: two semi-finals on 23 and 24 February 2013, respectively, and a final on 9 March 2013. A total of thirty-two entries were selected and sixteen competed in each semi-final where six entries were selected to advance to the final. The twelve qualifiers competed in the final where "It's My Life" performed by Cezar was selected as the winner after scoring top marks from a seven-member jury panel and a public televote. Prima TV () is a Romanian commercial TV channel, famous mainly for the ''Cronica Cârcotaşilor'' show and various reality shows aired on this channel.
