Florent Troillet
Florent Troillet (born 7 June 1981) is a Swiss ski mountaineer. Troillet was born in Lourtier. He competed first in 1995. He has been member of the national team since 1996 and member of the Dynafit team since 2003. In 2007, in a team with Simon Anthamatten (leader), Ernest Farquet and Marcel Marti, he climbed the Matterhorn via the Swiss side in a record time of 3 hours 45 minutes. The record was beaten by Andreas Steindl in 2011. His sister Marie is also a competition ski mountaineer. Alexander Hug (ski Mountaineer)
Alexander Hug (born 11 May 1975) is a Switzerland, Swiss ski mountaineer. Biography Hug was born in Walenstadt and used for his first ski mountaineering attempts on the Garmil years self-tinkered Alpine touring binding, touring bindings, when he was eleven years old. He started armateur ski mountaineering sports in 1990 and competed first at the "Arflina race". In 1999 and 2000 he won the "Pizol Challenge", and has been member of the national team since 2000. He enjoys also mountain biking, climbing and mountain running. Sellaronda
The Sellaronda is the ski circuit around the Sella group in Northern Italy. The Sella massif lies between the four Ladin valleys of Badia, Gherdëina, Fascia, and Fodom and is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. It can be driven around by car crossing the Campolongo Pass, Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, and Gardena Pass. In winter it is possible to ski around the entire massif by using the ''Sellaronda'' ski lift carousel. Also each winter the alpine touring ski ''Sellaronda Skimarathon'' race is held, which leads around the entire Sella and covers 42 km of mountain trails. Skiers are advised to set off before 10am to make sure they complete the circuit before the lifts close, as it can take up to six hours to complete depending on the weather and your ability. Unterrothorn
The Unterrothorn (or simply ''Rothorn'') is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, overlooking Zermatt in the canton of Valais. Zermatt () is a municipality in the district of Visp in the German-speaking section of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Vertical Race
A Vertical Race is a special kind of ski mountaineering without the typical downhill skiing after ascending. At the mountain running and climbing passages the runners have to carry their skis in their backpacks. Vertical Races for women and men are part of all international ski mountaineering competitions of the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions (ISMC) as well as at many national competitions. Val D'Aran
Aran (; ; ) (previously officially called in Occitan Val d'Aran, Catalan: ''Vall d'Aran'', Spanish: ''Valle de Arán'') is an administrative entity (formerly considered a comarca) in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, consisting of the Aran Valley, in area, in the Pyrenees mountains, in the northwestern part of the province of Lleida. Dachstein Xtreme
Hoher Dachstein () is a strongly karstic mountain in central Austria and the second-highest mountain in the Northern Limestone Alps. It is situated at the border of Upper Austria and Styria, and is the highest point in each of those states. Parts of the massif also lie in the state of Salzburg, leading to the mountain being referred to as the ''Drei-Länder-Berg'' ("three-state mountain"). The Dachstein massif covers an area of around with dozens of peaks above 2,500 m, the highest of which are in the southern and southwestern areas.
