Florea Văetuș (born 23 November 1956) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a Forward (association football), striker. Club career Florea Văetuș was born on 23 November 1956 in Hunedoara, Romania and started playing junior level football at local clubs Constructorul and FC Corvinul Hunedoara, Corvinul. He started to play football at senior level in 1975 at Liga II, Divizia B club Victoria Călan, after one year moving to play for LPS Cetate Deva, Mureșul Deva. He was supposed to make his Liga I, Divizia A debut playing for Corvinul Hunedoara in a match against FC Sportul Studențesc București, Sportul Studențesc București which was postponed because of the 1977 Vrancea earthquake, so on 20 March, coach Ladislau Vlad gave him his debut in a 2–2 against CSM Jiul Petroșani, Jiul Petroșani. Hunedoara
Hunedoara (; ; ) is a municipiu, city in Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania. It is located in southwestern Transylvania near the Poiana Ruscă Mountains, and administers five villages: Boș (''Bós''), Groș (''Grós''), Hășdat (''Hosdát''; ''Hochstätten''), Peștișu Mare (''Alpestes''), and Răcăștia (''Rákosd''). Valentin Stănescu (20 November 1922 – 4 April 1994) was a Romanian football goalkeeper and manager. Stănescu and Constantin Cernăianu are the only two coaches who have managed the big three Bucharest city rivals, Steaua, Dinamo, and Rapid. Club career Corvinul Hunedoara Ioan Andone, nicknamed "Fălcosul" was born on 15 March 1960 in Șpălnaca , and when he was 14 years old, he played basketball and football simultaneously, Carol Gal being his first football coach at Școala Sportivă Hunedoara.
