Flisa Station
Flisa is the administrative centre of Åsnes Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village lies at the confluence of the rivers Flisa and Glomma. The Norwegian National Road 2 and the Solørbanen railway line both pass through the village. The village of Kjellmyra is located about to the south, the village of Sønsterud is about to the northeast, and the village of Gjesåsen is about to the north. Glomma
The Glomma or Glåma is Norway's longest and most voluminous river. With a total length of , it has a drainage basin that covers 13% of Norway's surface area, all in the southern part of the country. Tom Stræte Lagergren (born 29 May 1991), professionally known as Matoma, is a Norwegian Disc jockey, DJ and record producer. Early life Lagergren was born in Åsnes Municipality, Norway. He started playing the piano as a child. During that period, he won a contest to perform alongside Norwegian pianists Håvard Gimse and Leif Ove Andsnes. As he grew tired of classical piano, Lagergren began mixing on his computer. He holds a bachelor's degree in Music Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Log driving is a means of moving logs (sawn tree trunks) from a forest to sawmills and pulp mills downstream using the current of a river. It was the main transportation method of the early logging industry in Europe and North America. Åsnes Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Åsnes Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Flisa. It is the church for the Åsnes parish which is part of the Solør, Vinger og Odal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, wooden church was built in a Churches in Norway#Floor plan, cruciform design in 1744 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 400 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1394, but the church was not new that year.
