Flesheater
''Flesheater'' is 1988 horror film directed, written, produced, and co–edited by Bill Hinzman. An independent production, the film also stars Hinzman, best known for playing the cemetery ghoul in George A. Romero's ''Night of the Living Dead'' (1968). Plot The film starts with a group of kids taking a hayride in the country on Halloween. They pay the local farmer to take them to a secluded area of the forest. The kids arrive and begin drinking, telling the farmer to come back after dark to pick them up. As the party wears on the group separates to find their own little love nests. Meanwhile, the farmer has stumbled across a large tree stump which he proceeds to remove with the help of his tractor. Under the stump is a large wooden box with an ancient seal telling not to break open the box. The farmer breaks the seal and opens the box. Bill Hinzman
Samuel William Hinzman (October 24, 1936 – February 5, 2012) was an American actor and film director. Career Hinzman's first role was the cemetery zombie in the popular horror film ''Night of the Living Dead'' (1968). He reprised the role in new scenes that were filmed for the 30th-anniversary edition of the film. Hinzman also played roles in the films '' Legion of the Night'' (1995), '' Santa Claws'' (1996), '' Evil Ambitions'' (1996), and '' The Drunken Dead Guy'' (2005). His final role was in '' River of Darkness'' (2011), where he played a lead role alongside Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and Sid Eudy. He later directed the films ''The Majorettes'' (1986), and ''Flesheater'' (1988). His name is spelled "Heinzman" in the original Night of the Living Dead credits. ''Night of the Living Dead'' is a 1968 American Independent film, independent zombie horror film directed, photographed, and edited by George A. Romero, written by Romero and John A. Russo, John Russo, produced by Russell Streiner and Karl Hardman, and starring Duane Jones and Judith O'Dea. The story follows seven people trapped in a farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania, under assault by flesh-eating undead, reanimated corpses. It is one of several films released under the alternative title of ''Zombie 3''. Plot A scientist studying an ancient crypt near a grand mansion accidentally unleashes an evil curse. The curse reanimates the dead buried in the area, and the zombies devour the scientist. Three jet-set couples and the son of one of the women arrive at the mansion at the scientist's invitation. Rotting corpses quickly attack the guests as they begin rising from their graves. The group locks themselves in the mansion, and the zombies begin their siege past nightfall.
