''Flesh and Blood'' is a collectible card game, trading card game published by Legend Story Studios (LSS), an independent design studio based in Auckland, New Zealand. It was designed by James White, who had previously played ''Magic: The Gathering'' professionally. The game is based on elements of fantasy and, to some extent, science fiction. The name of the game meant to imply that the game was designed to be played in person instead of as an online game. Gameplay The game involves two or more players who assume the control of a hero, a character with equipment, abilities and set of cards. There are thirteen different card types, such as hero, equipment, weapon, action, reaction (attack and defense), instant or block. Hero, weapon and equipment cards are in play at the start of the game. Most cards are discarded into a "graveyard" after play. Michael Leslie Peters (25 February 1959 – 29 April 2025) was a Welsh musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the Alarm. After the band broke up in 1991, Peters wrote and released solo work, before revamping the Alarm in 2000. Additionally, he was co-founder of the Love Hope Strength Foundation. Between 2011 and 2013, Peters was the lead vocalist for Big Country as well as the Alarm. Billy Rancher (February 28, 1957 – December 2, 1986) was an American rock vocalist and songwriter, front man of The Malchicks, Billy Rancher and the Unreal Gods, and Flesh and Blood (all based in Portland, Oregon). One of the most prominent performers in the Pacific Northwest music scene in the first half of the 1980s, he died of cancer before reaching the age of 30. The Unreal Gods were one of the original (2007) inductees of the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
