Flamboro Speedway
Flamboro Speedway is a 1/3-mile semi-banked asphalt short track motor racing oval, located twenty minutes northwest of Hamilton, in the rural community of Millgrove, Ontario, Canada. The track was established in 1962. Overview The track hosts a weekly Saturday night stock car racing program that runs from May to October each year. The tracks weekly racing program features five categories: Pro-Late Model, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks and Pro 4 Modified. The track also regularly features touring series including the APC United Late Model Series, Ontario Sportsman Series, OSCAAR Modifieds, Hot Rods and Pro Sprints, the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series, Can-Am Midgets and Legends car racing. 2020 NASCAR Pinty's FanCave Challenge
The 2020 NASCAR Pinty's FanCave Challenge was the fourteenth season of the Pinty's Series, the national stock car racing series in Canada sanctioned by NASCAR. It began with the QwickWick 125 at Sunset Speedway on August 15 and concluded with the Pinty's 125 at Jukasa Motor Speedway on September 28. Andrew Ranger entered the season as the defending drivers' champion, however he did not compete in any races. Jason Hathaway was declared the Pinty's FanCave Challenge Championship winner for finishing first in the point standings. Drivers Schedule On 5 December 2019, NASCAR announced the 2020 schedule. It included an inaugural race at Ohsweken Speedway, which would have become the first dirt track race in series history. Two new sports venues opened up in Hamilton, Ontario in 2007-08, both of which are on the McMaster University grounds. The first is the $23-million Ronald V. Joyce Stadium, and the second is the $30-million David Braley Athletic Centre. Andrew Ranger (born November 20, 1986) is a Canadian professional racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 27 for Paillé Course//Racing. Ranger is a veteran of the Pinty's Series, having claimed 28 wins in 133 races. He was champion in 2007, 2009 and 2019, runner-up in 2016, third in 2012 and 2015, and fourth in 2008.
