Flag Of Azerbaijan SSR
The flag of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic was a plain red flag with a golden hammer and sickle and a gold-bordered red star in its upper canton and an horizontal dark blue band on the bottom fourth, representing the Caspian Sea. The last version of the flag of the Azerbaijan SSR was firstly introduced by K.M.A. Kyazimzade, director of the Azerbaijan State Museum of Art, and was officially adopted as national flag by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan SSR on October 7, 1952. Definition was as follows: The text of national flag in the Constitution of the Azerbaijan SSR was updated on 18 August 1953. However, the text didn't specify the proportion of the hammer and sickle. On 5 May 1956, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan SSR approved the "Regulations on the State flag of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic", which further regulated the details of the elements on the flag. Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic
The Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic, also referred to as the Azerbaijani Soviet Socialist Republic, Azerbaijan SSR, Azerbaijani SSR, AzSSR, Soviet Azerbaijan or simply Azerbaijan, was one of the Republics of the Soviet Union, constituent republics of the Soviet Union between 1922 and 1991. Created on 28 April 1920 when the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic brought pro-Soviet figures to power in the region, the first two years of the Azerbaijani SSR were as an independent country until incorporation into the Transcaucasian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic, Transcaucasian SFSR, along with the Armenian SSR and the Georgian SSR. In December 1922, the Transcaucasian SFSR became part of the newly established Soviet Union. Armenian SSR
The Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic (ArSSR), also known as Soviet Armenia, or simply Armenia, was one of the constituent republics of the Soviet Union, located in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Soviet Armenia bordered the Soviet republics of Azerbaijan and Georgia and the independent states of Iran and Turkey.
