Flag Planting
Flag planting is a behavior humans have exhibited in various different contexts. It is often done as a means to assert territorial claims in military or geopolitical situations, though it has also become common in sports – particularly college football in the United States. JPAC Divers Plant Flag
The Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (often referred to as JPAC) was a joint task force within the United States Department of Defense (DoD) whose mission was to account for Americans who are listed as prisoner of war, Prisoners of War (POW), or Missing in Action (MIA), from all past wars and conflicts. It was especially visible in conjunction with the Vietnam War POW/MIA issue. The mission of the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command was to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of the nation's past conflicts. The motto of JPAC was "Until they are home". On 30 January 2015, JPAC was officially deactivated by the Department of Defense. Josh Williams (Ohio Politician)
Josh Williams (born 1984) is an American politician who is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives representing the 44th district. He was first elected November 8, 2022, and assumed office January 1, 2023. He is the first Black Republican to be elected to the Ohio House in 50 years. Biography Williams dropped out of high school at the age of 18 in order to work to support his son. He later suffered a serious back injury after falling over thirty feet while working. Hook 'em Horns is the chant and hand signal of The University of Texas at Austin. Students, alumni, and fans of the university employ a greeting consisting of the phrase "Hook 'em" or "Hook 'em Horns" to show school pride. The gesture is meant to approximate the shape of the head and horns of the UT mascot, the Texas Longhorn Bevo. The sign is made by extending the index and pinky fingers while grasping the second and third fingers with the thumb.
