Fjæreheia
Fjæreheia is a former quarry in Norway known for its distinctive Alkali feldspar granite. Since 1993, it has been used as a theatre, hosting both Ibsen's plays and contemporary rock musicals. Agder Theatre purchased the quarry in 1995 and, by the summer of 1999, had constructed a new 900-seat amphitheatre. Located about 2 kilometers from Fjære Church, the quarry offers an open-air venue with excellent acoustics. Since opening in 1999 there have been many different types of arrangement at Fjæreheia. Diverse productions have been staged, including musicals such as ''Jesus Christ Superstar'', film presentations, readings of the poem "Terje Vigen" and rock concerts from acts such as A-ha, Vamp and Bjørn Eidsvåg Bjørn Eidsvåg (born 17 March 1954) is a Norwegian pop singer, songwriter, and ordained Lutheran minister. Agder Theatre

Alkali Feldspar Granite
Alkali feldspar granite, some varieties of which are called 'red granite', is a felsic igneous rock and a type of granite rich in the mineral potassium feldspar (K-spar). It is a dense rock with a phaneritic texture. The abundance of K-spar gives the rock a predominant pink to reddish hue; peppered with minor amounts of black minerals. Chemical composition As shown in the QAPF diagram, alkali feldspar granite contains between 20% - 60% quartz. Less quartz content would lead to "quartz alkali feldspar syenite". More than 90% of the total feldspar content is in the form of alkali feldspar. Less than that amount would designate the rock as a granite. Other incorporated silicate minerals may include, very minor amounts of plagioclase feldspar, mica in the form of muscovite and/or biotite, and amphibole (often hornblende). Fjære Church
Fjære Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Grimstad Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the village of Fjære. It is the main church for the Fjære parish which is part of the Vest-Nedenes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, stone church was built in a long church design around the year 1150 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 300 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1320, but the church was not new that year. The first church at Fjære was likely a wooden church with a stone altar. ''Jesus Christ Superstar'' is a sung-through rock opera with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Terje Vigen
''Terje Vigen'' is a poem written by Norwegian writer Henrik Ibsen and published in 1862. It follows the life of Terje Vigen, a fictional Norwegian man who lives in the town of Grimstad, during the early 19th century. During the Gunboat War, Grimstad is under a British naval blockade, and Vigen decides to travel to Denmark to acquire essential goods for his family in a small rowboat in 1809. However, his boat is captured by a Royal Navy corvette, and Vigen is sent as a prisoner of war to England, where he remains until the war is over. Returning to Grimstad in a Swedish Navy frigate in 1814, Vigen discovers that his wife and daughter have died. Becoming a maritime pilot, years later Vigen rescues a yacht in distress. He discovers that the yacht's captain was the commander of the corvette who took him prisoner, but decides against vengeance and rescues the Englishman along with his wife and child.
