Five Discography
The discography of English boy band Five consists of four studio albums, four compilation albums, fourteen singles, fourteen music videos and three video albums. Five's debut album, ''5ive'', was released by RCA Records in the United Kingdom in June 1998 and peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart and has been certified double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The first single from the album, " Slam Dunk (Da Funk)", peaked at number ten on the UK Singles Chart and within the top thirty across most of Europe. Follow-up single, " When the Lights Go Out", was more successful, peaking at number four in the UK, number two in Australia and number ten on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in the United States. Other singles released from the album, " Got the Feelin", " Everybody Get Up", and "Until the Time Is Through" all peaked within the top three in the UK and Ireland, and all three have been certified silver by the BPI. Five (group)
Five (occasionally stylised as 5ive) are an English boy band formed in 1997 consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson (singer), Scott Robinson, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown. Five released several hit singles around the Turn of the century, turn of the 21st century, particularly in their native United Kingdom. The group has sold over 20 million records worldwide. Five were formed by Heart Management, who held auditions to create a boy band. The group were subsequently signed by Simon Cowell and Bertelsmann Music Group, BMG/RCA Records, RCA. In November 1997, Five released their debut single "Slam Dunk (Da Funk)", which peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. ''Greatest Hits'' is the first compilation album by English boy band Five. It was released in the United Kingdom through RCA Records on 19 November 2001, just three months after the release of their third studio album, '' Kingsize''. The album features thirteen of the band's fifteen singles (excluding "How Do Ya Feel" and "Don't Fight It Baby"), as well as two popular B-sides, two new remixes, and the previously unreleased "Set Me Free", which was recorded during the ''Kingsize'' album sessions. "Closer to Me" is a song by English boyband Five. It was released on 22 October 2001 as the second single from their third studio album, '' Kingsize'' (2001). The song peaked at 4 on the UK Singles Chart and was Five's final British release, with the band breaking up after doing promotional appearances for it; follow-up single "Rock the Party" was ultimately included on a second CD single of "Closer to Me" in the UK, released on 26 November. ''Kingsize'' is the third studio album by English boy band Five. It was released in the United Kingdom on 27 August 2001 and later in Australia on 2 December 2001. On the UK Albums Chart, the album peaked at number three and was certified gold. ''Kingsize'' was the last album released by Five before their initial breakup. Queen (band)
Queen are a British Rock music, rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock.
