Henry FitzHugh, 3rd Baron FitzHugh ( – 11 January 1425) of Ravensworth Castle in North Yorkshire, was an administrator and diplomat who served under Kings Henry IV and Henry V. Origins FitzHugh was the first son of Hugh FitzHugh, 2nd Baron FitzHugh (A descendant of Akarius Fitz Bardolph,), by his wife Joan Scrope, daughter of Henry Scrope, 1st Baron Scrope of Masham. Lady Alice Fiennes (née Alice FitzHugh) (c. 1448 – 10 July 1516) was the eldest daughter and co-heiress of Henry FitzHugh, 5th Baron FitzHugh, and Alice Neville. Elisabeth West FitzHugh (born July 30, 1926 – January 13, 2017) was a Lebanese American conservation scientist. She was a fellow of the American Institute for Conservation and the International Institute for Conservation. Hon. George FitzHugh (died 20 November 1505) was Chancellor of Cambridge University and Dean of Lincoln. The Anglo-Normans (, ) were the medieval ruling class in the Kingdom of England following the Norman Conquest. They were primarily a combination of Normans, Bretons, Flemings, French people, Frenchmen, Anglo-Saxons and Celtic Britons. George Fitzhugh
George Fitzhugh (November 4, 1806 – July 30, 1881) was an American social theorist who published racial and slavery-based social theories in the antebellum era. He argued that the negro was "but a grown up child" needing the economic and social protections of slavery. Fitzhugh favorably contrasted slavery in the American South with capitalism in the Northern United States, decrying the latter as "a war of the rich with the poor, and the poor with one another", which rendered free blacks "far outstripped or outwitted in the chase of free competition." Slavery, he contended, ensured that blacks would be economically secure and morally civilized. Some historians consider Fitzhugh's worldview to be proto-fascist in its rejection of liberal values, defense of slavery, and perspectives toward race. Everett "Fitz" Fitzhugh (born 1989) is an American sportscaster who is the radio play-by-play announcer for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League. Early life Fitzhugh is African American. He was born in Detroit and was adopted by his mother, a single parent. He grew up in northwest Detroit. He attended Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Bowling Green State University. He first developed an interest in hockey when, as a third grader, he watched a Detroit Red Wings–Edmonton Oilers game and noticed that the Oilers had two Black players, Mike Grier and Georges Laraque.
