Steve Koren
Steve Koren is an American writer/producer and screenwriter. Most notably, he has written for ''Saturday Night Live'', ''Seinfeld'', and ''Veep''. He also wrote or co-wrote the movies ''Bruce Almighty'', ''Click'', '' A Night at the Roxbury'', and ''Superstar''. In addition, he has contributed to ''Curb Your Enthusiasm'' (specifically, the "Palestinian Chicken" episode). Koren is a native of Queens, New York, and attended Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Bayside, Queens. Career After college, he began his career as an NBC page. Among his duties as a page was working for ''Saturday Night Live''. As a Rockefeller Center tour guide, Koren would hand jokes to David Letterman and Dennis Miller as they passed in the hall, which landed him a writing gig on ''SNL''. ''Boxer, Beetle'' is a novel by British author Ned Beauman. It was first published by Sceptre on 5 August 2010. The novel was shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award in 2010. Overview The story is divided into two parallel arcs, one occurring in modern-day London and the other in 1930s England. The initial connection between the two narratives occurs in 2010 when a Nazi memorabilia collector discovers a hand-written note from Adolf Hitler. The letter is addressed to Doctor Erskine, a young aristocrat and eugenics researcher. Evidently, he had sent a gift to Hitler and it had been very well received. The finder of the note, “Fishy”, so called because of a rare medical condition that causes the sufferer’s sweat to smell of rotten fish, appeals to the users of a Nazi memorabilia message board to help in solving the mystery. So Many Nights
''So Many Nights'' is The Cat Empire's fourth studio album. On 30 July 2007, the band announced on their website and to their mailing list that the album has been released on 22 September. The release of the album was followed by an Australian tour in September and October. On 14 October, the band broke a record by playing eight shows in seven nights at Sydney's Metro Theatre. The previous record was held by You Am I for seven shows in seven nights at the same venue. The Cat Empire held a massive launch party at the Prince of Wales in Melbourne on 22 September at midnight to promote the launch of the new album. " No Longer There" was the first single from the album, and was released on 8 September. On 19 September, the entire album was added to a site for free streaming, three days before its Australian release.
