First Lady Of The Czech Republic
The First Lady of the Czech Republic is the hostess of the Prague Castle, advisor to the president, and often plays a role in social activism. The position is traditionally held by the wife of the president of the Czech Republic, concurrent with his term of office. She has no official role in the presidency and her role is strictly ceremonial. The current first lady of the Czech Republic is Eva Pavlová. She has been the first lady since 9 March 2023 as wife of President Petr Pavel. Eva Pavlová
Eva Pavlová (Maiden and married names, née Zelená; born 5 November 1964) is a Czech military officer who has been the First Lady of the Czech Republic, first lady of the Czech Republic since March 2023 and the wife of President Petr Pavel. Pavlová also serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Army of the Czech Republic, Czech Army reserve and as a member of the Town council, municipal assembly in her home municipality of Černouček. Biography She graduated from grammar school and, as part of her sports activities, was mainly involved in shooting. After graduating in 1983, she continued her studies at the Female Military Vocational School at the High Military Aviation School in Košice. Livia Klausová née Mištinová (born 10 November 1943) is a Slovak-born Czech economist who was the First Lady of the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013 as wife of the President Václav Klaus. From 2013 to 2018 she served as the Czech Republic's ambassador to Slovakia. An alumna of the University of Economics, Prague, she married fellow economist Václav Klaus in 1968. Miloš Zeman (; born 28 September 1944) is a Czech politician serving as the third and current President of the Czech Republic since 2013. He previously served as the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 1998 to 2002. Václav Klaus (; born 19 June 1941) is a Czech economist and politician who served as the second president of the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013. Livia Drusilla (30 January 59 BC – 28 September AD 29) was a Roman empress from 27 BC to AD 14 as the wife of Emperor Augustus Caesar. She was known as Julia Augusta after her formal adoption into the Julian family in AD 14. Livia was the daughter of Roman Senator Marcus Livius Drusus Claudianus and his wife Alfidia.
