First Bus London
First Bus London is a bus operator running services across Greater London, England. It is a subsidiary of FirstGroup, operating buses under contract to Transport for London, and was formed with the purchase of RATP Dev Transit London from RATP Group in 2025. History FirstGroup previously operated services under contract to Transport for London, before selling its First London operations to other bus operators namely Metroline, Go-Ahead London and Tower Transit in 2013. In December 2024, FirstGroup agreed terms to purchase RATP Dev Transit London from the RATP Group for £90 million, along with subsidaries London Sovereign, London Transit and London United Busways, London United, giving the FirstGroup a 12% market share of London's tendered bus services, ten garages across Central and West London, including one of which is the Westbourne Park garage, returned to First as the result of acquisition, with a fleet of 982 buses and around 3,700 employees. Wright Gemini 3
The Wright Eclipse Gemini is a Low-floor bus, low-floor double-decker bus body that was built by Wrightbus between 2001 and 2021, based on the single-decker Wright Eclipse design. The second-generation Eclipse Gemini 2 was launched in 2009, followed by the third-generation Gemini 3 in 2013. Additionally, the body was available on Volvo Super Olympian chassis in Hong Kong between 2003 and 2005, marketed as the Wright Explorer. The original Eclipse Gemini was launched in 2001 on Volvo B7TL chassis; from 2006, the body was also built on the replacement Volvo B9TL chassis and, from 2013, on the B9TL's replacement, the Volvo B5TL. From 2008, the body was also available on Volvo B5LH hybrid chassis. Eclipse Gemini's exported to the Asian market have been offered a choice of the tri-axle Volvo B8L and the Scania K series, Scania K410EB. London Sovereign is a bus operator brand under London Sovereign Limited, trading as First Bus, which operates bus services in Greater London. It is a subsidiary of First Bus London and operates bus services under contract to Transport for London.
