This is a list of worldwide fireworks competitions. Internationaler Feuerwerkswettbewerb Herrenhausen (International Fireworks Competition Hanover-Herrenhausen) The competition takes place every year in the Baroque Royal Gardens of Hanover- Herrenhausen, Germany. Consequently, each team has to show in its twenty-five minutes program a baroque part due to the gardens. Montreal Fireworks festival Known officially as ''L’International des Feux Loto-Québec'', the Montreal Fireworks Festival is the most prestigious and largest fireworks competition in the world. It is an annual international competition held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada since 1985. The event begins in June and carries on until August. Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
The Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC), initially known as the World Pyro Olympics (WPO), is an annual competition among fireworks manufacturers from different countries held in the Philippines which at its current format runs for five to six weeks every Saturday evening (initially five days in the competition's old format as the World Pyro Olympics) at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay. Two countries fire each day; the last participant fires on the final evening of the event. The host of the event does not participate in the competition but performs a fireworks display on the last night. Awards, such as the People's Choice, are given out after the exhibition. The crowning of the competition's winners ends the event. Pyrotechnics Guild International
The Pyrotechnics Guild International or PGI is an independent worldwide nonprofit organization of amateur and professional fireworks enthusiasts founded in 1969. It's the largest pyrotechnics community in the world. The Guild has a yearly convention. People from all over the world come to this event that lasts for about a week. Educational and scientific purposes The PGI strives to promote the safe and responsible display and use of pyrotechnics and fireworks. Fireworks display operator training is offered, as well as classes on specific safety and legality issues. Castillos De Torre (fireworks)
Castillos is a small city in the Rocha Department of southeastern Uruguay. Geography The city is located on the junction of Route 9 with Route 16, about northeast of the city of Rocha. Other settlements in the area include Barrio Torres, about one kilometre southeast of Castillo, La Esmeralda, several kilometres to the northeast and Aguas Dulces several kilometres to the southeast along the Route 16.
