Firemen's Hall (Cannon Falls, Minnesota)
The Firemen's Hall in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, at 206 W. Mill St., was built in 1888. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It was built after fires in 1884 and 1887 devastated the town's business district. It is an 1888 fire station reflecting the peril from and response to fires in the period's communities. In 2012, it was the Cannon Falls Area Historical Society's museum. Fireman's Hall (Alfred, New York)
Fireman's Hall is a historic fire hall located at Alfred in Allegany County, New York. It was built in 1890-1891 by volunteer firemen as the first home of the A.E. Crandall Hook & Ladder Co. It is a massive three story brick and sandstone structure that features an imposing bell / clock tower. The clock, designed by Seth Thomas, was donated by the Samuel Stillman family after the Village ran out of funds for the hall. The weather vane atop depicts a firefighter on a ladder. The building has housed village offices since the 1970s, as well as village court, police station and meeting hall today. Firemen's Hall is a historic meeting hall located in the College Point section of the New York City borough of Queens. It was built in 1906-1907 and is a two-story, rectangular brick building with a hipped roof in the Queen Anne style. A small rear addition was built about 1936. It was built for the Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association of College Point. Although owned by the College Point Little League, the building is used by a number of community groups as a meeting and social hall.
