Finishing Line (出人头地) is a Singaporean Chinese drama series produced by the former Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) in 1990. The story begins in 1983 and follows a group of friends as they grow up and forge their own paths in adulthood. Edmund Chen
Edmund Chen (born 4 February 1961) is a Singaporean actor and artist. He began his career in 1987 and rose to become one of Singapore's most prominent and popular actors during the 1990s and early 2000s. Media career Chen entered the entertainment industry after completing the SBC (predecessor of MediaCorp) 7th drama training course in 1987. He starred in several high-profile dramas such as sci-fi drama series ''Star Maiden'', ''Air Force'' and police thriller ''Patrol'', where he met and later married co-star Xiang Yun. Li Nanxing
Li Nanxing (born Jonathan Lee Nam Heng on 7 November 1964) is a Singaporean actor who has been referred to as "Ah-Ge" (阿哥, "big brother") of Caldecott Hill. He is also a businessman and filmmaker. Li has acted in many Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. Aileen Tan Lay Ching (born 18 October 1966) is a Singaporean actress. Life and career Tan studied at Willow Secondary School. Tan worked in sales for more than a year before becoming an office administrator at an advertising agency. Tan participated in Singapore Broadcasting Corporation's inaugural Star Search in 1988 and was placed second behind Zoe Tay. She also won the award for Most Photogenic. Zoe Tay Hui Gek (born 10 January 1968) is a Singaporean actress and former model. She has been referred to as the "Queen of Caldecott Hill" and "Ah Jie". Angus Tung (; born 26 July 1959) is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and record producer from the mid-1980s to mid-1990s. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean Mandarin-language free-to-air terrestrial television channel in Singapore, owned by state media conglomerate Mediacorp. The channel broadcasts general entertainment and news programming in the Mandarin language, including original and imported programming. The channel began a series of experimental broadcasts on 31 August 1963, and officially launched on 22 November 1963. As with its sister Channel 5, the channel would initially air programming in all four of Singapore's official languages, although having a particular focus on the Chinese and Tamil communities. Zhang Xinxiang (born Teo Boon Seong on 27 April 1967), formerly known as Zhang Wenxiang, is a Singaporean actor and businessman.
