Final Battle 2022
The 2022 Final Battle was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It was the 21st Final Battle event and took place on December 10, 2022 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. It was ROH's second live event under the full ownership of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) president Tony Khan. Twelve matches were contested at the event, including four on the pre-show. Claudio Castagnoli defeated Chris Jericho by Submission (professional wrestling), submission to win the ROH World Championship in the main event. Samoa Joe
Nuufolau Joel Seanoa (born March 17, 1979), better known by the ring name Samoa Joe, is an American professional wrestler and actor. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Opps, and is one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions. He is also known for his work with Ring of Honor (ROH), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and WWE. Debuting in 1999, Joe joined ROH soon after its formation in 2002, going on to hold the ROH World Championship for a record 21 months from March 2003 to December 2004 as well as holding the ROH Pure Championship. At Slammiversary in June 2005, he joined TNA, where he embarked on a 19-month-long undefeated streak that ended in a critically acclaimed feud with Kurt Angle.
