Filomeno Junior
Filomeno Junior da Costa; knownly Filomeno Junior or Filomeno, (born 21 June 1998) is a Timorese footballer currently playing for Liga de Elite club S.L. Benfica de Macau and the Timor-Leste national team. Club career Filomeno played domestic football for SLB Laulara of the Liga Futebol Amadora for which he served as captain. In January 2022, the player expressed an interested in playing in neighboring Indonesia's Liga 1, particularly for Persija Jakarta. In February 2023, Filomeno Junior joined S.L. Benfica de Macau of Macau's Liga de Elite. He was joined at the club by fellow Timorese international João Pedro da Silva Freitas. In a January 2023 interview, national teammate Jhon Frith identified both players as two of their nation's top footballers. East Timor (province)
East Timor ( id, Timor Timur) was a claimed province of Indonesia that existed between 1976 and 1999 during the Indonesian occupation of East Timor. Its territory corresponded to the previous Portuguese Timor and to the present-day independent country of Timor-Leste. From 1702 to 1975, East Timor was an overseas territory of Portugal, called " Portuguese Timor". In 1974, Portugal initiated a gradual decolonisation process of its remaining overseas territories, including Portuguese Timor. During the process, a civil conflict between the different Timorese parties erupted. Football At The 2021 SEA Games – Men's Tournament
The men's football tournament at the 2021 SEA Games was held from 6 – 22 May 2022 in Vietnam. Ten Southeast Asian nations participated in the men's tournament. The group stage and semi-finals were played in Việt Trì and Nam Định, while Hanoi hosted the bronze and gold medal matches. Men's teams are restricted to under-23 players (born on or after 1 January 1999) with a maximum of three over-aged players allowed. The tournament was won by Vietnam, who won their second title as a unified nation, having previously won it in 2019, and their third title in total, by beating Thailand 1–0 in the final. This victory also let Vietnam became the Gold Medal team that never concede any goal in the tournament for the first (and also the only team) time ever. The Timor-Leste national Under-23 football team (also known as Timor-Leste U-23 or Seleção U-23) represents the Timor-Leste in international football competitions in the Olympic Games, Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games and any other under-23 international football tournaments. It is controlled by the Federação de Futebol de Timor-Leste, the governing body of football in the country. Timor Leste is currently one of the weakest teams in the world. Fábio Joaquim Maciel da Silva (born 29 October 1977), known as Fábio Magrão, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. Previously, he was the head coach of Kuala Lumpur FA. Fábio also had a successful career as a player, playing at one of the greatest teams of Brazil, Flamengo, and at United Arab Emirates. Fábio replaced his compatriot Wanderley Junior as Kuala Lumpur's head coach in the middle of the 2017 Malaysia Premier League season, and succeeded on winning 12 of his 14 games, taking Kuala Lumpur FA from 8th to 1st and winning promotion. The Indonesia national football team ( id, Tim nasional sepak bola Indonesia) represents Indonesia in international association football. It was the first Asian team to participate in the FIFA World Cup, particularly in the 1938 edition as Dutch East Indies.
