The Gazette (stylized as the GazettE), formerly known as , is a Japanese visual kei rock band, formed in Kanagawa in early 2002.''Shoxx'' Vol 106 June 2007 pg 40-45 The band is currently signed to Sony Music Records. Biography 2002: Conception and early work The band began in 2002 with Ruki (vocals), Reita (bass) and Uruha (lead guitar) in Kanagawa Prefecture. After being involved with other bands in the visual kei movement, the trio decided that this band would be their last. They recruited Aoi (rhythm guitar) and Yune (drums) from disbanded visual band Artia and formally became Gazette in January 2002. The band name is an intentional misspelling of . After signing to the Matina record label, they released their first single, "Wakaremichi", and first music video on April 30, 2002. "Wakaremichi" was re-released in June. "Reila" (stylized as reila) is the seventh maxi-single by The Gazette, released on March 9, 2005. It was released by PS Company in 3 types. The song was not included on any studio album, but appeared on the 2011 compilation album '' Traces Best of 2005-2009'' and was re-recorded for 2017's '' Traces Vol.2''. The music video was included in the 2006 clip compilation '' Film Bug I''. In a survey among readers of the website ''JRock News'', "Reila" was the second most voted song as the best by The Gazette. Release In December 2004, the new single "Reila" was announced, along with the announcement of the third act of Royal Disorder tour series. Shibuya Kokaido
(also known as Line Cube Shibuya for sponsorship reasons) is a theatre located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. It was completed in 1964 to host the weightlifting events in the 1964 Summer Olympics. The theatre was sponsored by Dentsu and Suntory, which paid 80 million to rename it C.C. Lemon Hall (after their beverage of the same name) from 2006 to 2011.
