Filip Filipov-Ficho
Filip Filipov ( bg, Филип Филипов; born 31 January 1971), is a former Bulgarian football defender. Club career Filipov began his career at the local "Sliven". His first spell at PFC CSKA Sofia spanned one season (1990–91), after which he moved to Lokomotiv GO, and then played a short time for Jeju United of South Korean K League, then known as Yukong Elephant and Bucheon SK, only to return to PFC CSKA Sofia for another year. He then spent some time playing in LEKS ( Litex) before again returning to PFC CSKA Sofia for a third spell since December 1997. Coaching career In 2007 became coach of the youth national team in 17 years, subsequently he was coach of FC Vihren Sandanski from November 2007 to September 2009, with some interruptions - especially memorable 2-1 victory over Litex in 2007/08gl. 1-0 against PFC Levski Sofia and Lokomotiv Sofia, 3-1 as the guest of PSFC Chernomorets Burgas 2008/09g season. PFC Levski Sofia
Levski Sofia ( bg, Левски София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. The club was founded on 24 May 1914 by a group of high school students, and is named after Vasil Levski, a Bulgarian revolutionary renowned as the national hero of the country. Levski has won a total of 74 trophies, including 26 national titles, 26 national cups and 3 supercups, as well as 13 domestic Doubles and 1 Treble. It is also the only Bulgarian football club to have never been relegated from the top division since the establishment of the league system in 1937. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful teams are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Levski Sofia, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2022 final. Dimitar Penev
Dimitar Dushkov Penev ( bg, Димитър Душков Пенев, born 12 July 1945) is a Bulgarian football coach and former player and central defender of CSKA Sofia. He played 90 games for Bulgaria national football team and scored two goals. He is regarded as one of his country's best ever defenders, winning Bulgarian footballer of the year in 1967 and 1971, he also participated in three world cups for his country in 1966, 1970 and 1974. FC Marek ( bg, ФК Марек) is a Bulgarian football club based in Dupnitsa, currently playing in the Third League, the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. It was founded in 1947 following the unification of four local clubs. Home matches take place at Bonchuk Stadium, where Marek famously defeated Bayern Munich in 1977. PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv ( bg, ПФК Локомотив Пловдив), commonly known as Loko Plovdiv, is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Plovdiv.
