Filip Cabinet
The Filip Cabinet was the Cabinet of Moldova led by Pavel Filip from January 2016 to June 2019. Overview After the dismissal of previous cabinet, no consensus was reached by the three pro-European parliamentary parties - Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM), Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), and Liberal Party (PL). A new political crisis began. Pavel Filip
Pavel Filip (born 10 April 1966, Pănășești, Strășeni) is an engineer and politician from the Republic of Moldova. In 2001–2008 he was the director of the Joint-stock company "Bucuria" and in 2008–2011, general manager of Tutun-CTC joint stock company. He was then Minister of Information and Communication Technology in the Governments headed by Filat (2), Leancă, Gaburici, and Streleț since 14 January 2011 when he replaced Alexandru Oleinic (2009–2011) and by his investment at the prime minister position on 20 January 2016. He was the deputy chairman of the Democrat Party (DPM). On 7 September 2019 at the IXth Congress of the DPM was elected for the position of the chairman of the Party. Vladimir Plahotniuc (born 1 January 1966) is a Moldovan politician, businessman and oligarch. He was the chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova (24 December 2016 – 24 June 2019) and previously was member of the Parliament of Moldova in three terms (December 2010 – October 2013, December 2014 – July 2015, February 2019 – July 2019), and served as First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova (December 2010 – February 2013). The Sandu Cabinet was a Cabinet of Moldova, led by Maia Sandu. History It was inaugurated on 8 June 2019, in the middle of the 2019 Moldovan constitutional crisis when the Constitutional Court of Moldova declared unconstitutional her designation for this position as well as the appointment of the Government of the Republic of Moldova. However on 15 June 2019, the Constitutional Court revised and repealed its previous decisions declaring the Sandu Cabinet to have been constitutionally created. The Streleț Cabinet was the Cabinet of Moldova from 30 July to 29 October 2015. It consisted of ministers from the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), the Democratic Party (PDM) and the Liberal Party (PL), who together formed the Alliance for European Integration III. The Cabinet was installed after a successful vote of confidence held in the Parliament of Moldova on 30 July 2015.
