Huntingtons are a punk band from Baltimore, Maryland which formed in 1994 in the Maryland and Delaware area by Cliff Powell (a.k.a. Cliffy Huntington), Mike Holt (a.k.a. Mikey Huntington) and Mike Pierce (a.k.a. Mikee Huntington). The band is heavily influenced by the Ramones and has extensively toured with numerouramonescorebands. Background Huntingtons debut album, ''Sweet Sixteen'', was released in 1996 by Flying Tart Records. The cover for the album was lifted from The Naturals cover of the same name. A few months later, their first attempt at recording Ramones covers, entitled '' Rocket to Ramonia'' saw limited release via the Burnt Toast Vinyl label. Second guitarist, Tom Rehbein (later in Small Towns Burn a Little Slower)joined the band, and after working with producer Mass Giorgini for the band's next album, '' Fun and Games'', Tom was replaced by Brad Ber. Tooth & Nail Records is a record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle where it is today. History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish.'' In 2002, the label bought out Takehold Records. The Ramones were an American punk rock band formed in the New York City neighborhood Forest Hills, Queens in 1974. Known for helping establish the punk movement in the United States and elsewhere, the Ramones are often recognized as one of the first bands of the genre. "Pet Sematary" is a single by American punk rock band Ramones, from their 1989 album '' Brain Drain''. The song, originally written for the Stephen King 1989 film adaptation of the same name, became one of the Ramones' biggest radio hits and was a staple of their concerts during the 1990s. The song plays over the film’s credits. Background King, a huge Ramones fan, invited the Ramones to his Bangor, Maine home as they played in New England. During the visit, he handed Dee Dee Ramone a copy of his '' Pet Sematary'' novel, and the bassist retreated to the basement. One hour later, Dee Dee returned with the lyrics to "Pet Sematary". Shortly afterwards, drummer Marky Ramone said that Dee Dee's attitude that day showed that he could achieve his plans to leave the band and attempt a career at hip hop music.
