Figure (musician)
Josh Gard, better known by his stage name Figure, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. Career Figure is largely known for his Monsters series, which features drumstep tracks mixed with horror movie samples. As of 2022, he has released 13 volumes in the series. Since 2012 Universal Studios have enlisted him to supply the soundtrack for their annual event Halloween Horror Nights. Besides his horror themed releases, Figure has also ventured into traditional electronic music genres. On September 10, 2013, he released an EP titled "Horns of the Apocalypse" through the record label Owsla. Further showcasing his abilities, Figure released a full-length album titled "Gravity" on August 31, 2015. Figure's song "Monster Mania" was featured on the sixth episode of season eleven of the show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Spring Awakening Music Festival
Spring Awakening Music Festival (SAMF) was an annual electronic dance music (EDM) festival held in Chicago. The festival started at a theater in 2008, moved to Soldier Field in 2012–2015, and to Addams/Medill Park in 2016–2018. In 2019, the festival moved to the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival was not held in 2020, and the 2021 event was held in October at Addams/Medill Park. The 2022 festival was scheduled to be held at the United Center on July 8–10, but was subsequently cancelled. History Spring Awakening was founded as a concert series in 2008. The event eventually outgrew the theater, and in 2012 SAMF was turned into a two-day outdoor music festival at Soldier Field by the Chicago-based promoting agency React Presents. Jeffrey Abel (born 29 April 1986), better known by his stage name Excision, is a Canadian DJ and electronic music producer. He is the founder of Rottun Recordings and Subsidia Records. Active since 2006, his first release, "Warning", was in 2007. He released an annual "Shambhala" mix album in the third quarter of each year until 2016. He started his own music festival (Lost Lands) the following year and releases annual mixes. He is known for his tours with immense sound systems and huge visual productions. Abel founded the record label Destroid Music. Upon its debut, Destroid released a full-length digital album titled ''The Invasion''.
