''Fight Like Apes'' is the third and final studio album from Irish band Fight Like Apes. It was released in Ireland on May 15, 2015, and in the UK and internationally on May 18, 2015. The first commercial single release from the LP was "Pretty Keen on Centerfolds", released on May 9. Some of the tracks which appear on the album previously appeared on their ''Whigfield's Sextape EP'' in 2014. Fight Like Apes
Fight Like Apes (also referred to as FLApes or FLA) are an Irish alternative rock band formed in Dublin in 2006. Their final lineup consisted of Mary-Kate " MayKay" Geraghty (vocals and synth), Jamie "Pockets" Fox (keyboard and vocals), Conor Garry (bass), Peter O'Shea (drums) and Frog Cullen. Original members Adrian Mullan (drums) and Tom Ryan (bass) left the band in 2010. They are known for their elongated record titles, usually inspired by B movies. They have released three EPs, '' How Am I Supposed to Kill You If You Have All the Guns?'' Alcopop! Records is a British independent record label, run by Jack Clothier and Kevin Douch formed in East Oxford, 2006. The label works with DITZ, DZ Deathrays, Johnny Foreigner, Fight Like Apes, Anamanaguchi, Peaness, TIGERCUB, Gaffa Tape Sandy, The Spook School, Nelson Can, and QI. Inception Alcopop! Records was formally created after a small loan was gambled on the Charlton vs Portsmouth match of 16 September 2006, with money for the first release and show generated from a successful bet on the match.
