Field Goal (basketball)
In basketball, a field goal is a basket scored on any Basketball moves#Shots, shot or tap other than a free throw, worth two or three-point field goal, three points depending on the location of the attempt on the basket. Uncommonly, a field goal can be worth other values such as one point in FIBA 3x3 basketball competitions or four-point field goal, four points in the BIG3 basketball league. "Field goal" is the official terminology for a made shot used by the National Basketball Association (NBA) in their rule book, in their box scores and statistics, and in referees' rulings. The same term is also the official wording used by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and basketball#High school basketball, high school basketball. Terrence Alexander Jones (born January 9, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Piratas de Quebradillas of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. High school career Jones was ranked the No. 8 player in the class of 2010 by Scout.com, the No. 9 player in the ESPNU 100, and the No. 13 player by Rivals.com. Phoenix Mercury
The Phoenix Mercury are an American professional basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. The Mercury compete in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) as a member of the Western Conference.
