FCA India Automobiles Private Limited (FCAIPL), formerly known as Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited, is the Indian subsidiary of Stellantis, formed in 1997. The company was established for the production of cars and engines under the brand Fiat, Abarth, and Jeep. It is the ninth largest Indian car manufacturer by sales in India. Fiat 1100
The Fiat 1100 is a small family car produced from 1953 until 1969 by the Italian manufacturer Fiat. It was an all-new unibody replacement for the Fiat 1100 E, which descended from the pre-war, body-on-frame Fiat 508 C Balilla 1100. The 1100 was changed steadily and gradually until being replaced by the new Fiat 128 in 1969. There were also a series of light commercial versions of the 1100 built, with later models called the Fiat 1100T, which remained in production until 1971. Michael Manley, often known as Mike Manley (born 6 March 1964) is an English businessman and current CEO of American automotive retailer AutoNation. He previously served as managing director of the North American operations of Stellantis. The Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio are a series of grand tourers produced by the Italian manufacturer Maserati, succeeding the maserati Coupe, Maserati Coupé and Spyder. Grugliasco (; ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region of Piedmont, about west of Turin. Grugliasco borders the municipalities of Turin, Collegno, and Rivoli. In 1945, members of the retreating German 34th Infantry Division and 5th Mountain Division murdered 68 civilians in retaliation for a partisan ambush in the town and in Collegno. Origins of the name The origin of the name could be derived from the predaural Gruglascum, Curlascum, from Currelio - ascum, the ancient name of the Roman settler to whom, at the time of the Roman centuriation of the western suburbs of Turin, was perhaps assigned part of these lands.
