Big Daddy Weave
Big Daddy Weave is an American contemporary Christian band from Mobile, Alabama composed of Mike Weaver, Joe Shirk, Jeremy Redmon, and Brian Beihl. They are signed to Fervent Records. History The band members met in college while attending the University of Mobile. Mike Weaver had been serving as worship leader of a Pensacola, Florida church and attending a community college in the area. He came to the university at the urging of his pastor, and studied voice. In 2006 and 2007, Big Daddy Weave toured with Mark Schultz on his "Broken and Beautiful" Tour. In 2009, they headlined the "What Life Would Be Like" Tour with guest musician Josh Wilson. On June 25, 2019, band frontman Mike Weaver announced that he would be releasing his autobiographical book, ''I Am Redeemed'', on September 3, 2019. By the Tree was a contemporary Christian rock group. They were active from 1997 to 2007, releasing two self-produced albums followed by six albums with Fervent Records. Their notable successes included their 2001 album ''Invade My Soul'', which won two Dove Awards, and their number-one hit "Beautiful One". Overview By the Tree was founded in Weatherford, Texas in 1997 by Chuck Dennie and Bala Boyd. By the Tree got their start playing a series of small venues — predominantly churches — throughout the southern and southwestern United States. In 1999 they released two independent, self-produced CDs, which they sold at their concerts. By 2001, these two CDs had sold a combined 30,000 units, which more than recouped their production costs, and additionally brought them to the attention of the Christian music industry. Stars Go Dim (SGD) is an American pop rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma that formed in late 2007. The band originally consisted of Chris Cleveland (vocals, piano, and guitar), Joey Avalos (guitar), Michael Wittig (bass guitar), and Lester Estelle II (drums). Now composed of Chris Cleveland, Michael Cleveland, Kyle Williams and Josh Roach, the band recently signed to Fervent Records (Word Entertainment). Cadia was an American Christian pop group composed of long-time best friends Courtney Myers and Tori Smith. They both went to school at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Their name, Cadia, is derived from the Greek word Arcadia, meaning place of peace, symbolizing the peace found when fears, insecurities, and trials are released. Sidewalk Prophets is an American contemporary Christian music band from Nashville. Their album ''These Simple Truths'' contained the single "The Words I Would Say" which is also featured on ''WOW Hits 2010'' and ''WOW Hits 2011''.
