Farooq Feroze Khan ( ; born: 17 August 1939 – 9 October 2021), best known as Feroze Khan, was a Pakistani military officer who served as the 6th four-star air officer in the Pakistan Air Force and also served as the 8th Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, appointed in 1994 and retiring in 1997. His career in the Air Force is subjected to distinction as he was the only air force officer whose career spanned more than 40 years of military service. Nasir al-Din Abu al-Fatah Firuz Shah II ( Sindhi: نصيرالدين ابو الفتح فيروز شاھ ثاني), commonly known as Jam Feroz (1508–1524/5), was the last ruler of the Samma dynasty of Sindh. Jam Feroz proved to be a weak ruler and lost his kingdom to the Arghuns, thus Sindh came under foreign rulers. Feroz Abbas Khan is an Indian theatre and film director, playwright and screenwriter, who is most known for directing plays like Mughal-e-Azam, ''Saalgirah'', '' Tumhari Amrita'' (1992), ''Salesman Ramlal'' and ''Gandhi Viruddh Gandhi''. Career He was the first artistic director of the Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai and in 1983 was head of the Prithvi Theatre Festival with Jennifer Kapoor and Akash Khurana. Feroz Abbasi
Feroz Abbasi (born 1979) is one of nine British men who were held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba. He was released from detention and repatriated in 2005 and released by the British government the next day. Allegations and internment Abbasi was born in 1979 in Entebbe, Uganda to a Pakistani father and a Nubian mother (her Grandfather was from South Sudan) later immigrated to the United Kingdom. The U.S. government alleged that Abbasi attended four separate al-Qaeda training courses at the Al Farouq training camp, near Kandahar, and also at the nearby camp, Ubaida. He was taught urban warfare, assassination techniques, intelligence collection and surveillance. Feroz Ahmad (26 January 1938 – 20 February 2025) was a Turkish-American academic, historian, and political scientist who taught at different universities, including the University of Massachusetts Boston, Tufts University, Harvard University, Columbia University, and Yeditepe University. Firuz Shah Tughlaq (1309 – 20 September 1388), also known as Firuz III, was Sultan of Delhi from 1351 until his death in 1388. He succeeded his cousin Muhammad bin Tughlaq following the latter's death at Thatta, Sindh. Taj ud-Din Firoz Shah (died 1 October 1422), also known as Firoz Shah Bahmani, was the ruler of the Bahmani Sultanate in the Deccan plateau of India from 16 November 1397 to 22 September 1422. Firuz Shah is considered an important ruler of the Bahamani Sultanate. He expanded his kingdom and even succeeded in conquering the Raichur Doab from Vijaynagara kingdoms. Sir Pherozeshah Merwanjee Mehta (4 August 1845 – 5 November 1915) was an Indian politician and lawyer from Bombay. He was knighted by the British Government in India for his service to law. He became the Municipal commissioner of Bombay Municipality in 1873 and its president four times – 1884, 1885, 1905 and 1911. Pirouz Mojtahedzadeh (; born 9 February 1946) is an Iranian political scientist and historian. He is a prominent Iranologist, geopolitics researcher, historian and political scientist. He worked in Iranian universities as a geopolitics professor from 1999 to 2014, namely Tarbiat Modares University, University of Tehran and Shahid Beheshti University. Pirouz Davani (1961–1998~) () is, or was, an Iranian leftist activist and editor of the ''Pirouz'' (Persian: ''"Victorious"'') newspaper. He disappeared on 28 August 1998 while leaving his residence in Tehran. Some have suggested that Davani was murdered. Early career Pirouz Davani joined the Iranian Revolution against the Pahlavi dynasty as a youth. After the revolution succeeded he was arrested in 1981 "for his alleged links to the communist opposition" and was imprisoned.
