Fernando Schwartz (Mexican Journalist)
Fernando Schwartz (born 1937 in Geneva) is a Spanish writer and former diplomat. As the son of diplomats and a diplomat for 25 years he has lived in several countries. He was Spanish Ambassador in Kuwait and the Netherlands and spokesman of foreign policy until 1988. He worked later for PRISA group as councillor, spokesman and communication in chief of El País newspaper. He has been professor of Opinion in UAM journalism department and conductor of TV program ''Lo más Plus'' in Canal Plus. He lives currently between Madrid and Majorca with his family. Canal+ (French TV Channel)
Canal+ (, meaning "Channel Plus"), also spelt Canal Plus and sometimes abbreviated C+ or Canal, is a French premium television channel owned by Canal+. The channel was launched in Paris and Issy-les-Moulineaux on November 4, 1984, and broadcasts to Metropolitan France. It broadcasts several kinds of programming, mostly encrypted, but some unencrypted content can be viewed free of charge. Canal+ was co-founded by André Rousselet and Pierre Lescure. The Premio Planeta de Novela is a Spanish literary prize, awarded since 1952 by the Spanish publisher Grupo Planeta to an original unpublished novel written in Spanish. It is one of about 16 literary prizes given by Planeta. Financially, it is the most valuable literary award in the world for an author or book, with the winner receiving €1,000,000. It was created by José Manuel Lara Hernández in 1952 and is awarded on 15 October, St Teresa's day, Teresa being the name of Lara's wife. Since 1974 there has also been an award to the runner up, which now stands at €200,000. The and its twin the are sedans sold in Japan from 2001 to 2021 by Toyota. The sedans are designated as a compact car by Japanese dimension regulations and the exterior dimensions do not change with periodic updates.
