Fernando Pérez De Traba
Fernando (or Fernán) Pérez de Traba (; – 1 November 1155), or Fernão Peres de Trava (), was a nobleman and count of the Kingdom of León who for a time held power over all Galicia. He became the lover of Countess Teresa of Portugal, through whom he attained great influence in that domain, and was the ''de facto'' ruler of the County of Portugal between 1121 and 1128. The '' Poema de Almería'', a Latin poem celebrating one of Alfonso VII's major victories of the ''Reconquista'', records that "if one were to see him ernán one would judge him already a king." Family Fernán was the second son of Pedro Fróilaz de Traba, founder of the House of Traba, and his first wife, Urraca Fróilaz. Fernán Pérez De Guzmán
Fernán (or Fernando) Pérez de Guzmán (1376–1458) was a Spanish historian and poet. He belonged to a family distinguished both for its patrician standing and its literary connections, for his uncle was Pero López de Ayala, Grand Chancellor of Castile, historian and poet, and a kinsman was the Marquis of Santillana, one of the most important authors of the time of Juan II of Castile. Part of his verse, such as the "Proverbios" and the "Diversas virtudes", is purely moral and didactic. The more important part is represented by the panegyrical ''Loores de los claros varones de España'', which in 409 octaves gives a full account of the leading figures in Spanish history from Roman times down to that of Benedict XIII. Fernando Perez (born April 23, 1983) is an American Major League Baseball (MLB) coach, former professional baseball outfielder, and a writer. He played baseball at Columbia University. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 7th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft. He played in MLB for the Rays in 2008 and 2009. In , while playing for the Visalia Oaks, Perez led the minor leagues with 123 runs. He played professional baseball until retiring in 2014. In 2021, he became a video coordinator for the San Francisco Giants. Fernando Pérez Valdés (born 19 November 1944) is a prominent Cuban film director. Career Pérez graduated from the University of Havana with a degree in Language and Spanish Literature, and began working in the Cuban film industry in 1971 as an assistant director, before directing his first documentary in 1975. His feature debut was the drama '' Clandestinos'' (1987) but it was not until ''Madagascar'' (1994) that he garnered significant international recognition. Pérez later directed '' La Vida es Silbar'' (1998) and '' Suite Habana'' (2003). ''Suite Habana'' is considered by some critics to be the best Cuban film in decades. He is best known as the creator of the IPython programming environment, for which he received the 2012 Free Software Award from the Free Software Foundation and for his work on Project Jupyter for which he received the 2017 ACM Software System Award. Fernando Pérez Pascal (born October 3, 1964) is a Mexican former professional tennis player. Biography A native of Mexico City, Pérez was the world's ITF World Champions, top ranked junior doubles player in 1982. Pérez played college tennis for Louisiana State University (LSU) and won two Southeastern Conference singles championships, the first in 1983 and the second as a senior in 1986. During his collegiate career he also represented Mexico in international competition, including the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas, where he was runner-up to American Greg Holmes (tennis), Greg Holmes in the singles event.
