Fernando Arturo Patterson Castro (born 15 March 1970 in Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican former football goalkeeper who finished his career at Xelajú in Guatemala's top division. He is a naturalized citizen of Guatemala. Siquirres (canton)
Siquirres is a canton in the Limón province of Costa Rica. The head city is in Siquirres district. History Siquirres was created on 19 September 1911 by decree 11. Geography Siquirres has an area of km² and a mean elevation of metres. The canton touches the Caribbean coast between the mouths of the Pacuare River to the southeast and the Parismina River to the northwest. It encompasses territory in a southwest direction, between the Madre de Dios River on the southeast side and the Destierro River on the northwest, as far as the southernmost portion of the Cordillera Central. The area is drained by the rivers Reventazón, Parismina, Pacuare River, Madre de Dios, Matina River and Siquirres River. Climate The climate is warm, wet with temperatures between 25 and 26 Degrees Celsius. 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the second edition of the Gold Cup, the soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). The format of the tournament stayed the same as in 1991: eight teams were broken up into two groups of four, with the top two in each group advancing to the semifinals. It was the first Gold Cup to be co-hosted; Group A was held in the United States (Dallas), and Group B in Mexico (Mexico City). The tournament was won by Mexico, who beat the US 4–0 in the final.
