Fernando Fernán Gómez
Fernando Fernández Gómez (28 August 1921 – 21 November 2007), better known as Fernando Fernán Gómez, was a Spanish actor, screenwriter, film director, theater director, novelist, and playwright. Prolific and outstanding in all these fields, he was elected member of the Royal Spanish Academy in 1998. He was born in Lima, Peru while his mother, Spanish actress Carola Fernán-Gómez, was making a tour in Latin America. He would later use her surname for his stage name when he moved to Spain in 1924. Fernán Gómez was regarded as one of Spain's most beloved and respected entertainers, winning two Silver Bears for Best Actor at the Berlin International Film Festival for ''The Anchorite'' and '' Stico''. He was also the recipient of the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts, the National Theater Award, the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts, the Gold Medal of the Spanish Film Academy, and six Goya Awards. Fernando Gómez Esparza (born 21 August 1953) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party. He served as Senator of the LVIII and LIX Legislatures of the Mexican Congress representing Aguascalientes and as Deputy of the 47 Legislature. Fernando Gómez-Bezares (born 1956 in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain) is an economist, professor in several universities, and author of numerous publications (books, chapters and articles) in his field. In the 1980s he developed a method of selection of risky investments called Penalized present value (PPV). Fernando Francisco Gómez Mont Urueta (born January 11, 1963) is a Mexican lawyer and politician who served as Secretary of the Interior. He was appointed by President Felipe Calderón on November 10, 2008, following the death of secretary Juan Camilo Mouriño in a plane crash on November 4. Gómez Mont was a member of the National Action Party until his resignation from the party on February 10, 2010. He presented his resignation on July 14, 2010, and President Calderon appointed Francisco Blake Mora to take charge of the Secretary of the Interior. Fernando Gómez Doblas (born 16 October 1965 in Málaga) is a track and field athlete from Spain with cerebral palsy. He competes as a T36 type athlete. He competed at the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta, Georgia, winning a silver in the 400 meter T34-T35 race, the 200 meter T34-T35 race and the 100 meter T35 race. He competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia, where he did not meal in any of his races.
