Fernando Abrantes
Fernando Fromm-Abrantes (born 1960) is a German-Portuguese producer and musician. Background He has been a temporary member/keyboardist of the electronic/experimental pop band Kraftwerk. He went to the German school in Lisbon. After finishing school he moved to Germany and studied music and electronics in Düsseldorf together with Kraftwerk members Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz. Afterwards he returned to Portugal. He lives in Lisbon, where he owns a music production studio. He is fluent in German, Portuguese and English. In 1985-1986 he performed a few shows as keyboardist of Sandra and her world hit " Maria Magdalena". Abrantes joined Kraftwerk in winter 1990-1991 during production of the album '' The Mix'', shortly after the departure of electronic percussionist and songwriter Karl Bartos. Karl Bartos
Karl Bartos (born 31 May 1952) is a German musician and composer known for his contributions to the electronic band Kraftwerk. Career Karlheinz Bartos was born on 31 May 1952 in Marktschellenberg, Germany, named after his grandfathers Karl and Heinz. He was the drummer in a college band called The Jokers (later The Jolly Jokers in 1975) as Carlos Bartos, around 1965 to 1975. Between 1975 and 1990, he was, along with Wolfgang Flür, a member of the electronic music band Kraftwerk. This lineup of the group remains the most stable and productive yet assembled. Expo '98 (1998 Lisbon Specialised Expo) was an official specialised World's Fair held in Lisbon, Portugal from Friday, 22 May to Wednesday, 30 September 1998. The theme of the fair was "The Oceans, a Heritage for the Future", chosen in part to commemorate 500 years of Portuguese discoveries. Kling Klang (also spelled as Klingklang) is the private music studio of the band Kraftwerk. The name is taken from the first song on the '' Kraftwerk 2'' album. The studio was originally located at Mintropstraße 16 in Düsseldorf, Germany, near to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, but in mid-2009 moved to Meerbusch-Osterath, around 10 kilometers west of Düsseldorf. Ralf Hütter
Ralf Hütter (born 20 August 1946) is a German musician and composer best known as the lead singer and keyboardist of Kraftwerk, which he founded with Florian Schneider in 1970, and became the only consistent member of the band (although he briefly left the band for several months in 1971), and the only one to have appeared on every single one of the band's albums. On 12 May 2021, Kraftwerk was announced as one of the inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Personal life Hütter was born on 20 August 1946 in Krefeld, Germany. The single and its A-side and B-side, B-side, "Spacelab", both appeared on the band's seventh album, ''The Man-Machine'' (1978).
