Fernand Kashama
Fernand Kashama (born February 26, 1985) is a former Canadian football defensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the second round of the 2008 CFL Draft. He played college football for the Western Michigan Broncos. He also played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Early life Kashama was born on February 26, 1985, in Kinshasa, Zaire and grew up in Brampton, Ontario. During his senior season in high school, he played both wide receiver and free safety. He recorded 30 catches for 700 receiving yards. College career Kashama was recruited by Boise State, Marshall, Rutgers and Western Michigan, before eventually choosing the latter. The Marshall Thundering Herd football team is an intercollegiate varsity sports program of Marshall University. The team represents the university as a member of the Sun Belt Conference East Division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, playing at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level. Marshall plays at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, which seats 38,227 and is expandable to 55,000. At the end of the 2024 football season, Marshall had a 192–45 record at Joan C. Tim Biakabutuka
Tshimanga "Tim" Biakabutuka (born January 24, 1974) is a former American football running back. He played college football at the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1995, and was drafted with the eight overall pick in the 1996 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He holds the Michigan Wolverines single-season rushing record with 1,818 rushing yards in 1995. He is also distinguished as being the first Zairian to play in the NFL. Hakeem Kashama
Nicolas "Hakeem" Kashama (born February 22, 1978) is a former professional gridiron football defensive end. He was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football for the Connecticut Huskies. Kashama was also a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders. His brothers Alain, Fernand, and Kalonji, as well as his cousin, Tim Biakabutuka all played professional football. Alain Kaleta Olony T. Kashama (born December 8, 1979) is a Canadian former professional football defensive end who played in the Canadian Football League and National Football League. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. Kashama also played for the Seattle Seahawks, Cologne Centurions, Montreal Alouettes, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Calgary Stampeders. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is an offense (sports), offensive position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football.
