Fernand Cazenave
Fernand Cazenave (26 November 1924, in Orthez – 11 January 2005, in Mont-de-Marsan) was a French former rugby union international and national coach. Cazenave played six times for France France (), officially the French Republic ( ), is a country primarily located in Western Europe. He made his debut against England in 1950 and scored his only Test try as France won 6-3. His last match, was also against England, in 1954 which France again won 11-3, in Paris. Orthez
Orthez (; eu, Ortheze; oc, Ortès, ) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, and region of New Aquitaine, southwestern France. It lies 40 km NW of Pau on the Southern railway to Bayonne. The town also encompasses the small village of Sainte-Suzanne, an independent commune until 1973; residents of the town are called either ''Orthéziens'' or ''Sainte-Suzannais''. Geography Orthez straddles the westward-flowing Gave de Pau, with most of the town proper having developed on the right bank. Mont-de-Marsan (; Occitan: ''Lo Mont de Marçan'') is a commune and capital of the Landes department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, southwestern France. Jean Prat
Jean Prat (1 August 1923 – 25 February 2005) was a French rugby union footballer. He played as a flanker. He was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 1959. He is considered one of the best French rugby players of all time and was inducted into both the International Rugby Hall of Fame and IRB Hall of Fame, in 2001 and 2011 respectively. His younger brother. Maurice Prat, also appeared for France, with the pair appearing together at international level on a number of occasions. Career Prat was born in Lourdes, Midi-Pyrénées. Jean Desclaux (1922 – 24 March 2006) was a French rugby union player and coach who played for US Dax as flanker. Born in 1922 in Dax, he played and coached club rugby for US Dax only; as a player he served the club from 1947 to 1959 and represented France A eight times.
